OUR HISTORY
ETP Engenharia is a limited corporation registered in the Regional Council of Engineering and Architecture as a naval construction shipyard and was founded in January 2000.
Its activities were initiated in naval repair, through the leasing of Dique Orlando Barbosa, in Ilha do Viana. During the first three years, ETP docked more than 100 vessels, of which, in most cases, vessels for maritime support to the oil platforms. Besides that, it carried out relevant operations in several large vessels in various areas of Brazil.
In 2001, ETP provides aboard repair services and manufacture of pieces for Petrobras, in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro state, through Crystal hiring system.
In November 2002, ETP’s goals are aimed at the construction of aluminum service vessels, with a contract to construct ten aluminum catamarans for the company Barcas S.A. In the following year, ETP projects and leases Estaleiro Barcas-Rodriguez, located in Ponta D’Areia, Niteroi, which it operates until 2007.
At the end of this period, ETP provides an extensive range of steel and aluminum accessories for Petrobras’s P51 and P52 platforms. But currently its activities are concentrated in the construction of aluminum and steel vessels. |

From the year 2007, many high performance motorboats for the transportation of passengers and pilotage are constructed with ETP’s own project. In April 2009, ETP signs a contract with Siem Consub for the construction of two P2 type aluminum crew boats. The contract enables the leasing of a 3.000 m2 area, which belongs to the Renave repair yard, located in Ilha do Viana.
With the consolidation of the partnership with Camorim Serviços Marítimos LTDA, in the end of 2009, ETP is hired to construct a steel floating dock with 48 meters in length and 22,8 meters in breadth, aiming to attend Camorim’s fleet and the operational necessities of ETP.
In December 2009, ETP signs a new contract with Siem Consub company, this time to construct two oil spill recovery vessels (OSRV 10-750), therefore, allowing the leasing of an additional area of 5.000 m2. This area has a berth of 83 meters in length by 27 meters in breadth, with capacity for edification of vessels up to 72 meters in length.
NEW FACILITIES TO EXPAND THE PRODUCTION CAPACITY
In 2010, ETP leases a 30.000 m2 area in Ilha de Santa Cruz to attend the expansion project of its productive capacity. The preliminary layout predicts two berths. The first with 120 meters by 27 meters and the second with dimensions to be defined according to the market opportunities, reaching up to 160 meters.
